TESTIMONIALS

We bought from MTH at Olive Gardens an apartment we were very pleased in fact we put in part exchange to buy a Villa which is the best move we made as there are so many windows in the villa the views are to die for and with the windows open there is a breeze that keeps the villa very cool we have just had central heating fitted hoping to spend a lot of time in the winter never had any problems with My Turkish Home. I found them very honest which is a blessing in Turkey we have all heard terrible stories about people losing there money
In fact as an investment I have bought another apartment on phase 1
Since we have been at Akbuk we have seen some really good changes we feel its a very up and coming place to buy.

We had never travelled to Turkey before, however with all the support from Kate in the early days through emails and a meeting at ‘A Place in the Sun’ exhibition in Birmingham, she introduced us to Altinkum and the surrounding areas, supporting us in finding the correct property and making the process easier to execute.

When we arrived in Turkey in October 2006 we were shown a number of properties by a few different agents which were either not suitable or were out of our price range. They did not always consider all of our requests.

However, with the support of Yildiray and Kate we viewed a number of properties which were covering all of our needs and we eventually purchased our home at Olive Gardens in Akbuk.

When we arrived back in the UK, with the support of My Turkish Home team and Helen, who dealt with our inquiries very promptly and efficiently we found the process to buy simpler. She is a credit to the My Turkish Home team and she is an example of their support to any client. She always helped to put our mind at rest answering any questions, however trivial, which we had.

In our view My Turkish Home is an agent who can be trusted and relied upon from 2½ thousand miles away.

Our journey into overseas ownership, stated with a trip to Spain and a property we wanted. The banks then started messing around, and with the Euro strong and the economy weakening, we decided to pull out of the deal and Spain altogether. This is the best decision we made.

A friend recommended Turkey in general and My Turkish Home in particular, as an alternative, as we still wanted to buy a holiday / retirement home. They had bought an apartment several years ago and were pleased with the property and My Turkish Home.

1 quick call and it was all arranged, we flew to Turkey to start looking.

The trip was very well organised, with a personalised itinerary of properties covering the price range we wished to spend. There are many good quality reasonably priced properties available. We were not encouraged to spend more than we wanted.

We eventually chose an apartment in Akbuk, on the Olive Gardens complex. The process was swift and pain free and we were assisted in buying and furnishing the apartment. During the buying visit, at no time did we feel under pressure to buy.  The deeds were available in around 3 months.

Akbuk is a super place to be, with just the right amount of shops and bars, all within walking distance.  The sea is less than 100 metres away and we have a very big swimming pool. Olive Gardens is known as one of the best complexes in Akbuk.

We are so glad that we didn’t buy in Spain, as what we bought cost a third of what we were prepared to pay there.

If you are thinking of buying abroad, I say look at Turkey. If you are thinking of buying in Turkey, I say look at My Turkish Homes. Everybody in Turkey will say they know of good deals, but in the long run you need someone who will be around to help you look after your investment.
